From October 26th to 27th, the Discipline and Talent Construction Seminar and high-end Academic Forum of the School of Transportation Engineering were successfully held. Tao Jidong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University and secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Members of the school's leadership team, members of the school's academic committee and new teachers who have entered the school in the past three years attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Shi Shaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College.

He introduced the background of the establishment of the School of Transportation Engineering, stressed the responsibility and significance of promoting scientific research and innovation in the field of transportation in the new era and training high-level talents, and hoped that the School of Transportation Engineering would contribute wisdom and strength to the construction of our country’s education and transportainon. Tao Jidong hoped that the experts and scholars attending the meeting would continue to care about and support the career development of Chang 'an University, and continue to feel the pulse and offer suggestions for the development of the college. Professor Ge Yingen, dean of school of transportation engineering, reported the development status of the school and introduced in detail the initial process of the school's development, personnel training, faculty, international construction, scientific research and innovation, platform and team building.
